I found Moran Roofing’s detailed Quotes enabled me to assess the complete scope of works to be done. The quote allowed for some flexibility in the completion so that I could decide on cement or plastic for the gable tile ends once the tiles were back on.

All alternative options were discussed during the process and I felt that the final choice of the more costly full roof replacement was the right decision. Nice that the hedgehog gutter brush to all gutters was also done free of charge.

Once started, the works were completed to plan even though it was during Covid lockdown and a few days were lost to heavy snow. The team were very friendly and helpful; moving vehicle when needed and allowing me to add other items to the skip.

I was able to discuss aspects of the work as it progressed which added reassurance that the work was being done as agreed.

I had a few minor niggles at the end of the project. All these items were acted on quickly once I let Moran Roofing know about them.

I was extremely pleased with the end result. The works were undertaken in winter with heavy snow on a few days and with rain on other days but was completed with no further leaks. This was especially impressive while the tiles were still off and only the new membrane was down.

Using the Drone to assess the roof was unexpected. Suggesting the use of the modern dry system for the replacement valleys worked out well and is far better than the lead ones which used to become clogged with leaves and debris from an overhanging Beech tree.

I was given the choice of cement or plastic to finish off the tile ends on the gables once the roof had been retiled so I could imagine what each would look like before making the decision. It was nice that there was some agreed flexibility within the original quote for this.

The crew were all very friendly and took the time to chat during their breaks which made the whole experience more relaxed.
