ROOF REPLACEMENT
“We started searching for a Roofing Contractor after we found leaks last autumn. We contacted several companies and requested advice and quotations. Taking into consideration each contractor’s reputation and customer reviews.
After reviewing our findings, we preferred Moran Roofing Specialists because of their industry certification, client testimonials and awards. They had clearly demonstrated their commitment to their work. Because of this, we were happy to pay a slightly higher price for peace of mind, good quality workmanship and great project management.
After discussing our options with Moran Roofing, we assessed repairs or a complete re-roof. Unfortunately, repairing the water ingress would delay the complete re-roof and could only offer a temporary solution. In comparison, a complete re-roof would provide us with 30 years of peace of mind.
We, therefore, instructed Moran Roofing to strip and renew the entire roof and porch. Works included refurbishment of the existing chimney stacks and leadwork.
During our project:
The team were polite and respectful. Workers represented the company well, answered our questions and provided updates and guided tours when we asked.
The workmanship was very high; everyone took pride in their work and were happy to pick up any minor corrections during snagging.
Grounds were kept clean and tidy, and access was maintained during the project. No litter from lunches etc., was left, and our property was cleared and swept before the end of the project.
The Project Manager was honest and easy to deal with; he provided abundant information without prompting and was happy to answer any questions. In addition, he was easy to get hold of and even coordinated with another contractor to make both projects ran more efficiently. They also provided additional men on-site to ensure our project remained on schedule.
Work was completed within a reasonable timeframe (considering an unplanned change in the work required, additional materials needed, Christmas break and perishingly cold mornings of -6’C).
